KEITH KER

Keith KerrKeith was born in Queensland and educated in Brisbane, Sydney and the U.S. He grew up jumping out of trees in his dad’s old leather flying helmet but, despite this, decided to become a motor mechanic. Keith learned to fly in the early 1990s and began working at Sydney Aerobatic School in 1998. With over 5000 flying hours under his belt Keith has done countless hours of single engine and multi engine charter, and instructs at all levels from GFPT to advanced aerobatics.

Keith and his wife, Anne, have a young son, Casey; and in what spare time he has left Keith is into muscle cars and dirt bikes.

 

 


JOEL HASKI

Joel HaskiJoel’s passion for flying was ignited when he first went gliding at the age of 16. After finishing school Joel began his formal flight training at Bankstown’s Sydney Aerobatic School and, upon gaining his commercial license in 1994, began flying for The Red Baron.

Joel was the NSW Aerobatics Champion in 1995 and in 1997 became an instructor at the Sydney Aerobatic School where he trained pilots until 2001, when he moved overseas. Joel returned to Australia in 2005 and bought The Red Baron business in May of that year.

 

 


ENZO IACONO

Enzo IaconoEnzo has been flying for over 18 years and he has spent much of that time as a pilot for The Red Baron, as well as an aerobatic flight instructor for Sydney Aerobatic School.

With a long list of ratings and endorsements Enzo has flown aerobatics, formation, twin-engine charter and international ferry flying, as well as flying for photographic shoots and TV commercials.

Enzo continues his flying career with The Red Baron as an aerobatic display pilot and online pilot for all the Red Barons flights.

 

 


PETER TOWNSEND

Peter TownsendPete first learned to fly with the RAAF cadets in 1993. He studied Aviation at high school and, after obtaining his student license, learned the art of aerobatics and high performance flying at the Sydney Aerobatic School. Pete obtained an Aviation degree at UNSW and worked at the Sydney Aerobatic School, continuing his aerobatic training on the Robin 2160 and SIAI-Marchetti aircraft.

Pete is an accomplished competition aerobatic pilot, competing in numerous national competitions since 1998. He has regularly placed in the top three at national titles.

Pete has logged more than 1500 hrs flight time, with over 500 hrs on Pitts Specials. In his spare time he works for a regional airline as an operations controller, but relishes every chance he gets to climb into the cockpit of the Red Baron and share the true magic of flight.

 


CHRIS CLARK

Chris ClarkeChris has grown up around flying, his first flight being with his dad at age one! A real aviation enthusiast, Chris learnt to fly at the Sydney Aerobatic School where he displays his passion for aerobatic flight and flight instruction. Chris flies the Pitts Special for Red Baron.

Apart from his natural ability in the air, Chris is an accomplished musician and studied Contemporary guitar for the NSW HSC, for which he received an award and was invited to play at the Sydney Opera House. When he’s not flying he can be found jamming with his muso friends!

 

 


GREG BAKER

Greg BakerGreg grew up on the sands of the Sydney's northern beaches. Since childhood he has been passionate about flying and in 2001, began his flight training with Red Baron, where he gained his license and aerobatic qualifications.

Competing regularly in local aerobatic competitions, he went on to complete his commercial pilot's license and now flys the Pitts Special scenic and aerobatic joy flights for Red Baron.

When he is not flying over Sydney's beautiful beaches, he can be found surfing amongst them!
