AEROBATIC COMPETITIONS
To foster 'grass roots' involvement for those interested in competitive
aerobatics, Red Baron Flight Training (RBFT) runs in-house aerobatic competitions.
These comps run at regular intervals throughout the year and also serve as
practice sessions for National and State Australian Aerobatic Club (AAC)
competitions. We run various grades of competition, from our own beginner's
grade (phase 1) through to the AAC grades (Graduate to Advanced). RBFT also
conducts regular aerobatic judge training and competitor information nights. These comps are a great way to refine the skills learned in our
aerobatics courses, and are a chance to pit your skills against other
pilots of similar standard.

The highest scoring competitor will win the annual prize, which is a trip to the Red Bull Air Race in Perth in November 2007

In-house competitions are open to current RBFT graduates who have completed
either our Advanced Aircraft Control Course or Basic Flying Course and hold
a Robin endorsement.
